The Raindeer Tree

|

See it with your own eyes. The oak tree that looks like a raindeer with antlers leaning over eating the grass. There is even some missing bark from one antler as if the raindeer has been rubbing it on something. Raindeer 002.jpg It's at the Northwest corner of Pioneer and Old Toll in Lake Arrowhead. Congrats to Terri for winning the $10 Starbucks card for listing a trifecta on the blog. I promise to drop it off soon. Richard.

Free Afternoon

|
Looking for something fun and free. Take a drive down to Cal State San Bernardino and take a look at the student art show in the beautiful air conditioned museum. Thomas Osekowsky, a art major has two pieces in the art show. There is also a display of acient Egytian artifacts. If you want stop by Rosa Maria's for lunch and make a day of it. I also recommend the county museum in Redlands. If you want to make a big day of it the Los Angeles county Natural History museum is also a great way to spend a hot Sunday afternoon. The museum in Redlands and Los Angeles both have entrance fee's but they are well worth the cost. I highly recommend a stop at Phillip's the original french dip sandwich place on Alameda Street across from Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. Let's face it we live in beautiful Southern California and there are so many things to do and see you should always have something fun to do. Enjoy.
I've said it before but July 1st will be here before you know it and I still see 6 out of every 10 drivers talking on their cell phones. Think of it as your  alone time. We can all use a little alone time and why not make the time you are driving in your car the time to think about what's important. The most important thing is our lives and the lives of those around us and really how hard is it to go buy a handsfree unit or even better just relax and enjoy the ride. Turn the music on watch the road and drive safe. Plus who needs a ticket. So remember July 1st put the cell phone down.

The first Mountain Country Realty employee to enter 3 different listings starting AFTER 12 noon Saturday June14th probably, make that definitely, will not  win a new car but will win a $10 Starbucks card. Terri & Richard are excluded this go around. Note the new Open House Catagory. The more we get on here the more views we'll get. We had a walkin who found us on MCRLA.com last week and wrote a contract. Unfortunately, he got beaten by an all cash offer but we still have a new active client. So can you. Richard

MVC-147S.JPGWe had a walkin in Blue Jay today who found some properties on our BLOG/Website. Hopefully we can turn it into a purchase in the near future. Hurray......

If you have an interest in GOLD coins, see our EBAY seller ID "Storybookinn". I have listed 1) a beautiful US 1886 $5 Gold Coin, 2) Two 1945 Dos Pesos Gold Coins and 3) a $5 Gold 1988 Canadian Maple Leaf. They all are in Pendant Frames so they can be warn as jewelry. They are all listed just below their current gold weight value. They belong (hopefully belongED) to Pat Bane, a nice woman who is an antiqueaholic and worked with us for a few years before retiring MVC-149S.JPG last year.
