This one is for the ALA members. Come celebrate the Tower's 100th birthday, on Saturday July 5th at the tower at 11:00 am-1:00 pm. The first 100 people on site will receive a special souvenir, there will be picture taking, live band and even a birthday cake. So hop in your boats and bring the family and join the ALA at the tower for this fun filled event.

The Lake Arrowhead Rotary Art and Wine Festival is next weekend June 21 & 22. This will be the 25th annual festival held at Tavern Bay beach club on the shores of Lake Arrowhead. There will be about 80 fine artists with works ranging from acrylics to oil paintings to woodworking. Wine lovers will also find this event delightful for the palate. Wine is available for tasting or by the glass from a wide selection of vinters. New this year is a wine tasting patio. There will be a number of performances during the wekend event as well as a variety of food offerings. So come up and enjoy sun, wine, great food, blue skies, clean air, crystal clear water, music and a beautiful lakefront location. Southern California"s Largest free concert series kicks off this Friday night with the PHAT CAT SWINGERS at 5:30 center stage. Starting at 5:00 p.m. is the popular Framer's Market. Don't forget as of July 1, 2008 you must have a hands free device to use with your cell phone when you are in your car. The California Highway Patrol will be watching so make sure you are ready.There are many different types of hands free device's so go out and have a little fun shopping for the right model for you. The actuall ticket is only $20 but there are assements that will add up to a cost of around $76. Be prepared. Be safe and drive safe.
