Amy Teachout from Lake Arrowhead is in Oman studying intensive Arabic for 2 months under the US State Department. Striving to blend in she is covered from neck to ankle 99% of the time in 110 degree heat with 95% humidity.
When wandering around she happened upon a parade of people men in white and women carrying decorations on their heads burning frankensence. 100's were on their way to a wedding and she was asked to come along. She said people were everywhere including the tops of the buildings. She found the cell phone in the turbine amusing.
